Chef JP was developed from a passion I have for cooking and a passion my wife, Lori, and I have for spending time with our family around the dinner table. Like many busy families, we always wonder, “What’s for dinner?”
While juggling two careers and carpooling kids around town to various events, Lori and I were constantly trying to slow down our fast-paced lifestyle. We were starting to miss the valued time around the kitchen table we both experienced when we were children. My mom, Carolyn, consistently cooked down-home southern dishes that were so good, we had to have seconds and I often had thirds. She taught me that cooking great tasting food and serving others could be very fulfilling.
My goal with Chef JP is to do just what my mom taught me — provide your family with great home-style meals that are prepared with quality ingredients with your family’s interest at heart. I cannot create time, but I want to help you spend it wisely.
